I did have a look, but I figured that by the time the boards get to the UK, I probably won't save much.

But, for 4 layer boards Laen's order does look tempting.

If you really need these in quantity >100, have you considered the DorkBot medium run group order? They have a 150 sq in minimum, but only charge $1/sq in.

Due to popular demand, I've made my CCS adaptation available at http://tristesse.org/MSP430LaunchpadCode .

I made a couple of changes for my own application, so I'd recommend comparing the code to Joby's version to see exactly what was involved.

I tried to run this on a LaunchPad with CCS5 and couldn't get it to fit into the device. Anybody else have that problem?

Also, working with SPI is challenging.

I am new to MSP40 and micro controller in general. Thanks for tutorial. Can you also please provide a link to where you purchased the headers for launchpad to make it like breadboard connections on the I/O pins?

Nice twist on the code! I started a flickr pool for neat stuff people have made - if you don't mind adding a picture to serve as inspiration the pool is here: http://www.flickr.com/groups/boxmaker/

Kind of.

I did something bad to it when I imported it into Inkscape, so it doesn't work on screen either. But, it does see the markers and give it a go.

I'm pretty sure it'll work if I use a good image to start with...
